four score and seven years ago..

so i've been working on a place to hold lincoln's 'gettysbu
rg address' a short and sweet two heart felt two minute speech regarding civil war and loss of life...

still greatly inspired by natures role in architecture i have been playing with ways to 'geometrically' break up a landscape- the hill lincoln stood on to deliver his speech. after various attempts to apply my own geometry to the landscape i ended up going for the most seemingly random layout purely because it was the only concept which worked- both aesthetically and functionally.

here is a plan view of my design.
